# An AI road trip planner for trips between cities

By Vaibhav Gupta, Founder of Packy AI. Updated 2026-10-25.

Packy AI plans road trips between cities: add the cities in order and it builds a mapped day-by-day itinerary for each stop, with how long to stay and the travel time between them, plus a packing list for the whole trip. Packy AI is free to start; Packy Pro is US$4.95 a month or US$49.95 a year with a 7-day free trial. For very long drives with dozens of roadside stops, Roadtrippers is built for that.

## How it works
1. **Add your route.** Enter the cities in order; Packy AI plans each stay and the travel day between them.
2. **See each day on a map.** Every day has its stops mapped, so you can see what fits.
3. **Start from real road trips.** Browse road trips other travelers planned and copy one.
