# A group trip planner everyone can edit

By Vaibhav Gupta, Founder of Packy AI. Updated 2026-10-25.

Packy AI is a group trip planner app: invite friends and family with a link, and everyone sees and adds to the same mapped day-by-day itinerary. Drop in places from TikTok, Instagram or screenshots, keep tickets on the right day, and share a travel journal afterwards. Packy AI is free to start; Packy Pro is US$4.95 a month or US$49.95 a year with a 7-day free trial.

## How it works
1. **Invite with a link.** Send the trip link; friends join as editors or viewers and see the same plan.
2. **Collect everyone’s ideas.** Paste TikTok, Instagram or YouTube links, or screenshots, and Packy AI adds the places as stops.
3. **Let AI fill the days.** Packy AI builds the day-by-day itinerary and maps the route between stops.
4. **Keep the paperwork together.** Upload tickets and bookings and they are placed on the right day.

## FAQ
### What is the best app to plan a trip with friends?
Packy AI and Wanderlog both let a group plan the same trip. Packy AI builds the itinerary for you and adds stops from social media; Wanderlog is built around a shared map you fill in together.
