By Vaibhav Gupta, Founder of Packy AI. Updated 2026-10-25.

Packy AI is a family trip planner app for iOS, Android and the web. Tell it where you are going and who is coming, and it builds a mapped day-by-day itinerary with kid-friendly stops and realistic pacing, a packing list split across bags, and one place for every ticket. Packy AI is free to start; Packy Pro is US$4.95 a month or US$49.95 a year with a 7-day free trial.

## How it works
1. **Plan around the travelers.** Add who is traveling, including children’s ages, and the itinerary paces each day and favours family-friendly places.
2. **Start from families who went.** Copy a real itinerary a family took to the same city, then change what you like.
3. **Pack for everyone.** The packing list follows the trip’s weather and length and splits items between cabin and hold bags.
4. **Share the trip.** Invite your partner to plan with you, and share a travel journal family can follow by link.
